PCR Board Members

On October 12, 2008, the general assembly of PCR convened to elect a new board of administrators

The General Assembly of PCR held its annual meeting to evaluate the work of PCR during the past two years and to elect a new board of administration to lead the center for the coming two years.

During the meeting, the previous narrative and financial annual reports were presented to the GA who voted in approval unanimously.

The GA has also approved the external auditor for the centre, El-Shayeb Accounting and Auditing Corporation, headed by Mr. Issa Abu Farha El-Shayeb as the official external auditor.

The current (old) board of administration declared its resignation paving the way for new members to take the lead.

10 GA members ran for the 7-member board of administration, however, three of them have later announced that they rescinded their candidacy in favour of other members to achieve maximum diversity in the board.

The current board has a very diverse and homogeneous group at the same time, since all of them have been involved in a way or another in supporting PCR activities and work during the past years. The board consists of, two females, two Muslims, four young people, two from the founders of PCR.
