Through Young Eyes, is a project that aims to contribute to enabling Palestinian youth to express their hopes and fears regarding issues in their country that affect their present and future.

Through this project, young Palestinian  males and females aged 18 - 24 will be empowered to bring to the public issues of their concern and try to change them by creating more public pressure on the local or national authority.

During the course of the project, issues that concern youth will be addressed publicly through dialogue with local and national authorities.  Issues that participants will come up with will be addressed through the production and publication of what is called Public Service Announcement (PSA).  PSAs are messages in the public interest disseminated by the media usually without charge, with the objective of raising awareness, changing public attitudes and behavior towards a social issue.

To produce these PSAs that carry a message to thepublic, participants will go through intensive training in the following topics.

1- Training in Communication Skills

2- Training in Simple and basic Research Skills

3- Training in Advocacy Skills

4- Training in Video and Audio Production

The Audio/Video training includes training in shooting video and still images, in addition to downloading and editing video on the computer to produce the PSA.

The produced PSAs will be broadcasted on the local media based on a campaign that the participants will initiate throgh the project.

Therefore, the project goes beyound training in closed rooms to the street where it will address issues of concern.
