By: George Rishmawi - June 28, 2005

The General Assembly of the center met on June 26, 2005 to elect new board members.

This is the first time PCR members are able to elect board members since PCR is officially registered one year ago. PCR is officially a Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations registered at the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, under the registration number BL-447-S.

Seven members of the General Assembly have been elected as an administration board for PCR who will serve the organization for two years.

Most of the board members are pretty young, which complies with the new vision for PCR to give a chance for the younger generation to lead the organization.

The following are the new PCR leaders:

Uraib Jaber - President
Tarik Sa'ed - Vice President
Eyad Joma - Treasury
Hussam Qassis - Secretary

Fayad Jibreen - Member
Raed Rishmawi - Member

Three of the former board are elected in the new one. So, it is time to say Thank You for those who founded and served PCR in the past 17 years; namely, Ghassan Andoni, Abdullah Awwad, Michael Rishmawi, Jeries Qumsieh, Dr. Jad Isaac, Melani Nassar, Salam Hilal, Elias Rishmawi, Mazen Badra, and many others.
