Nov 15, 2001 Two Palestinian youths from Beit Ummar detained

Mohamed Hader Abed (15) and Usama Jabber (16) have been arrested by Israeli soldiers at the Al Muthalath checkpoint, in Beit Ummar, this afternoon. The soldiers claim that the two boys had been "observed throwing stones" 2 days ago. At this time we are unaware of any evidence to support this charge. Oct 16, 2001 Israeli Army seals off Beit Ummar

Yesterday morning, at approximately 5 a.m., the Israeli Occupation Army sealed off all roads around the village of Beit Ummar. Then they prevented local Palestinians from opening their shops, and from harvesting grapes from their fields to take to market. In addition to the army jeeps and soldiers, the army also deployed a tank on the street to prevent Palestinians from moving into or out of the area. Sept 15, 2001 Israeli Soldiers Terrorize West Bank village

Yesterday night Israeli soldiers raided the West Bank village of Beit Umar, near Hebron. They threw sound bombs in front of many homes. The force of the bombs broke many window panes and also damaged the grape vines which grow on the house's walls.
